Payment Terms
Deposit: A 25% non-refundable deposit is required 7 days prior to the start date of the shoot to secure the booking. All content that is initially shared the client will contain a watermark. Upon approval of the final deliverables, the remaining 75% balance must be paid before release of the un-watermarked content.
Travel
All travel costs are to be covered by the client and must be paid in full alongside the initial deposit. Where public transport is required, costs will be charged at the prevailing rates at the time of booking. Travel by car will be charged at £0.45 per mile.
Deliverables
Deliverables can be expected within up to 14 days following the shoot, unless otherwise agreed in writing. If earlier delivery is required, this must be discussed and agreed prior to confirming the booking.
Usage Rights
All content produced remains the intellectual property of Scotty Shot It. The client is granted a non-exclusive licence to use the delivered content for its intended purpose. The creator retains all usage rights and reserves the right to showcase the work across their website, portfolio, social media channels, and promotional materials, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Liability
The creator shall not be held liable for any injury, loss or damage incurred by the client or any third party during the course of the shoot. Participation in the shoot is undertaken at the client's own risk.
All reasonable measures will be taken to ensure that recorded content is handled, stored, and backed up securely. However, in the event that content is lost, damaged, or rendered unusable due to circumstances beyond the creator's control (including but not limited to equipment failure, data corruption, or unforeseen events), the creator cannot be held responsible or liable.
Agreement
By proceeding with payment and confirming a booking, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to all terms and conditions outlined in this agreement.
